A 2 level awarded course level 1 & 2 being taught in 2 or 3  days depending on your requirements. This course is in hand picking, EPG picking, using high security picking and decoding tools on cylinders such as Yale Triple Platinum, Ultion, KABA. Mul-T-Lock. We also pick mortice locks, decode mortice locks and teach all bypass methods on all locks. this is a GMLUK level 2 AMP2 award. which is the Advanced Masters in Picking Award which is a level 2 Guild of Master Locksmiths UK award.

Our two-day lock picking and decoding course covers a range of topics, dealing with hand picking or what's known as manual picking of standard cylinder locks such as none British standard, training locks that have been cleverly repined to allow you to master the techniques of touch, feel and tension. You will be progressing to metal body cylinder locks that increase in difficulty as you move on through the training mastering picking security pins, spools, serrated and mushroom pins as we build to manually pick dimple locks, 1 star rated to 3 star rated high security cylinder locks. We will master the art of attacking slider pins or bar pins and skills required to move them into place to get a deeper false set on locks such as Yale Triple Platinum before finishing the pick by hand using flag picks to dimple rakes. We will also be master the art of raking, rocking and jiggling such locks along with rapid entry times trials. Expect to face down locks such as Ultion, Mul-T-Lock, Yale and many more. But we are not just done with picking as we will be covering the skill of decoding pin cylinder using many different decoding tools before moving into lever lock picking and decoding along with making pick tools that you can take away with you. You will master the art and skills of manually picking locks by hand and then with EPG Electronic Pick Guns and much more!

• Learning the different picks from picks like rakes to flag picks and more.

• Learning the skills of tension and placement, single pin picking SPP, binding and setting pins.

• Learning the technical skills of rapid entry using raking, rocking and jiggling skills to open locks in seconds.

• Learning how to deal with sliders/bars in conjunction with pin piking using multiple picks and tension tools to open high security locks.

• Learning about telescopic pin sets / pin in pin systems and how to prick them by hand using SPP techniques 

• Learning to how decode cylinder locks, how decoding tools work and why we use them as locksmiths

• Learning how to pick mortice locks, 3 lever, 5 lever locks.

• Learning the skills of bypass and technical entry for failed high security locks such as Ultion

• Learning how to make lock picking tools and tension tools and how to use them

• Learn how these locks truly work, what's inside and why they fail and how to remove failed parts via technical entry.

• This course goes into re-pinning locks, and really delves deep into the cylinder and lever lock cracking all the mysteries that surround such high security locks
